Lord,
I pray Thee let not my weakness distract me, but let my speech be of
that alone in which the salvation of my soul consists; and let me
never break forth to that degree both of folly and wickedness, as to
wish to be a judge of Thy omnipotence, and of Thy sacraments; and
suffer me not to exalt my weak opinion above either the divine
determination of Thy infinity, or that belief of Thy eternity which
has been revealed to me. Amen.

Pope Saint Pius X Quote
My
hope is in Christ, who strengthens the weakest by His Divine help. I
can do all in Him who strengthens me. His Power is infinite, and if I
lean on him, it will be mine. His Wisdom is infinite, and if I look
to Him for counsel, I shall not be deceived. His Goodness is
infinite, and if my trust is stayed in Him, I shall not be abandoned.

Saint Teresa Kim Im I Quote
If
the Father (Father Kim, i.e., Saint Andrew Kim Taegon) is imprisoned,
I wish to follow his example, even if I have to give myself up
voluntarily, so do not expect to keep me long in this world.

Saint Apollinaris of Hierapolis Quote
The
fourteenth day, the true Passover of the Lord; the great sacrifice,
the Son of God instead of the lamb, who was bound, who bound the
strong, and who was judged, though Judge of living and dead, and who
was delivered into the hands of sinners to be crucified, who was
lifted up on the horns of the unicorn, and who was pierced in His
holy side, who poured forth from His side the two purifying elements,
water and blood, word and spirit, and who was buried on the day of
the passover, the stone being placed upon the tomb.

Saint Raymond of Penyafort Quote
Look
then on Jesus, the author and preserver of faith: in complete
sinlessness he suffered, and at the hands of those who were his own,
and was numbered among the wicked. As you drink the cup of the Lord
Jesus (how glorious it is!), give thanks to the Lord, the giver of
all blessings. May the God of love and peace set your hearts at rest
and speed you on your journey; may he meanwhile shelter you from
disturbance by others in the hidden recesses of his love, until he
brings you at last into that place of complete plenitude where you
will repose for ever in the vision of peace, in the security of
trust, and in the restful enjoyment of his riches.

Saint André Bessette Quote
I
do not cure, Saint Joseph cures.
--
Saint André Bessette in
response to doctors (who called him a quack), his superiors, and
others doubting the healing of so many sick.
Trivia:
For many years the Holy Cross (Montreal, Quebec, Canada) authorities had tried to buy land on
Mount Royal. Brother Andre and others climbed the steep hill and
planted medals of Saint Joseph on it, and soon after, the owners
yielded, which incident helped the current devotion to Saint Joseph
by those looking to buy or sell a home.

Saint Peter Chrysologus Quote
Today
the Magi find, crying in a manger, the one they have followed as he
shone in the sky. Today the Magi see clearly, in swaddling clothes,
the one they have long awaited as he lay hidden among the stars.
Today
the Magi gaze in deep wonder at what they see: heaven on earth, earth
in heaven, man in God, God in man, one whom the whole universe cannot
contain now enclosed in a tiny body. As they look, they believe and
do not question, as their symbolic gifts bear witness: incense for
God, gold for a king, myrrh for one who is to die.
So
the Gentiles, who were the last, become the first: the faith of the
Magi is the first fruits of the belief of the Gentiles.
